CRAFT — MADE IN JAPAN
CRAFTBehind the cute: serious hands.
Every TANTA piece is made in Japan. Slowly, on purpose.
01On time
Five to eight months pass between the first sketch and the shop floor: fabric sourcing, print trials, crystal placement, sewing, inspection. People ask, “All that for a T-shirt?” All that is exactly the point.
02On many hands
Select pieces travel through more than five specialized factories before they're done — print artisans, embroiderers, sewers, each doing their best work and passing it on. Japanese craft's division of labor is a luxurious detour.

03On material
Nearly all apparel is 100% cotton — much of it Parvati® cotton, chosen for its stretch and hand feel. A smile only lasts if you actually want to wear the thing every day.
04On crystals
Chappy's sunglasses carry Crystals from Swarovski — on some designs, his necklace too. The placement is always natural, never a uniform carpet of sparkle. Evenness isn't our idea of beauty.
Made in Japan.

Design, sewing, finishing — all of it happens in Japan. That's where the “oh, I get it” moment comes from when you hold a piece. Every piece is one click away on the official store.
